Before Installing the Office Administrator:

1. You should change the DSX Level 2 password from its default value (9999). See the following.
   • Telephone programming: 1031-01: New Password, or
   • System Administrator: System: Config: Password (1031): Level 2 Password

To Download and Extract the Installer :

1. From your DSX System CD or the www.necdsx.com web site DSX Download Center, select the version of the Office Administrator you want to download.
2. If you have WinZip or a similar utility installed, double-click dsx_office_admin.zip to extract the Office Administrator installer (exe) file.

If you are downloading Field Trial software:

1. After selecting the software version to download, you will be automatically taken to the Beta Test Site Agreement and Field Trial Request pop-ups. To receive your software, you must accept the License Agreement and complete the required fields in the Field Trial Request form.
2. When you receive the Thank You pop-up, click the Download button to download dsx_office_admin.zip to your PC desktop.

To install the Office Administrator Software:

1. Do not connect your PC to the DSX system.
2. Double-click the installer (i.e. DSXOfficeAdminSetup_vx.xx.exe) extracted to your desktop.
3. Once the installation starts, give "positive" responses to each screen.
   • "Positive" responses include Next, Install, Continue Anyway, OK and Finish.
4. Go to Starting the Office Administrator.
