Call Forwarding Off Premises Setup

1. Program the Call Forwarding Off Premises Basics

  1. 1406-01: Call Forwarding Off-Premises [System: Class of Service: Call Forward: Call Forward (1406): Off-Premise Call Fwd]
    Use this Class of Service option to enable Internal Call Forwarding.
    You must enable Internal Call Forwarding for Off Premise Call Forwarding to work.
    Option Description
    No (0) Disabled.
    Yes (1) [Default] Enabled.
  2. 1406-01: Call Forwarding Off-Premises [System: Class of Service: Call Forward: Call Forward (1406): Off-Premise Call Fwd]
    Use this Class of Service option to enable Off Premise Call Forwarding.
    Be sure Internal Call Forwarding is also enabled.
    Option Description
    No (0) [Default] Disabled.
    Yes (1) Enabled.
  3. 2102-01: Class of Service [Stations: Config: Setup: Access (2102): Class of Service]
    Assign Class of Service to extensions.
    Option Description


    1-15
                                        


    Class of Service level 1-15.
    [Default] for extension 300 = 1.
    [Default] for all other extensions = 2.

2. Set up the Tandem Calls and Speed Dial options.

  1. 3103-04: Tandem Calls [Lines: Config: Setup: Settings (3103): Tandem Calls]
    In order to forward an incoming outside call to an off premises destination, Tandem Calls must be enabled for the incoming line.
    If Tandem Calls for the incoming line is disabled, the off premises forwarding is blocked.
    Option Description
    No (0) [Default] Disabled.
    Yes (1) Enabled.
  2. Speed Dial
    The extension user can optionally use Personal Speed Dial bins for the off premises destination, instead of entering the number manually.
    This is helpful if the user has several destinations and needs to quickly switch between them.
